Arriving in Addis Ababa

Meeting Worknesh...a VOH employee and one of our guides.

We arrived in Addis on Saturday, April 11, 2009 around 9am.

Mom and me in the Addis airport. It was a surreal feeling to know we were in AFRICA! So far away from my family! Strange, but cool!

Cute couple Kim and Chad. I sat by them on the airplane. They were headed to Ethiopia to pick up their adopted baby boy. Very cool.

Getting through Customs and getting our visas was actually quite painless. All of our baggage even made the long journey!
